About Me

I’m Dewey Dellinger. Through the novels I’ve written, I hope to reveal who I am—a Christian, a husband, a family man, an educator, and a traveler.

Writing novels might seem like an unexpected path for someone who’s spent most of his career as a math instructor and administrator at a community college, especially someone with a Ph.D. in a discipline other than creative writing. A colleague with a doctorate in English once joked that I could probably turn a poem into a chart. But we all have unique interests and passions, even if they sometimes seem at odds with what people expect of us. No matter how we use our imagination, everyone has a story to tell!
